Ensure your branch/field force prioritizes Aadhaar eSign over others for stronger compliance and easier enforcement

Branch/field officers often default to the path of least resistance 🛣️, which means skipping the more secure but slightly longer Aadhaar eSign 🔒 in favor of quicker, less enforceable electronic signing methods. This can expose businesses to compliance risks ⚠️.

A seemingly easy way out would be to disable non-Aadhaar electronic signing altogether ✋.

But you don’t want to completely disable non-Aadhaar signing options - because then you’ll be stuck for the segment of your customers who don’t have Aadhaar linkage 🚫. You may even need to maintain a parallel paper-based operation for them 📄✍️.

How do you balance the need for operational flexibility 🔄 with the need for compliance? Is it possible to prioritize BOTH without sacrificing the other?

With Aadhaar First - you can now have the flexibility and meet your compliance needs too 🎉.

Aadhaar First is an automated cascade routing system for eSign types. Field and branch officers are forced to prioritize Aadhaar eSign and can only view non-Aadhaar options after all selected Aadhaar eSign modes are exhausted/attempted 💡.

It’s a bit hard to explain with just words - so check out the step-by-step flow below 👇.

How Aadhaar First Works

Enable Aadhaar Sign for the signer and then under Invitee Level Options, enable 'Prioritise Aadhaar for Invitee'.

Enable Aadhaar Sign for the signer and then under Invitee Level Options, enable 'Prioritise Aadhaar for Invitee'.

For a document with both Aadhaar Sign and Secure Virtual Sign enabled - if you enable Aadhaar First, the signer will only get the option to Aadhaar Sign first. They will get Secure Virtual Sign option only if all types of Aadhaar fail.

For this example document the signer will get the option to  Aadhaar Sign using OTP first. When that fails the signer will get the option to do Aadhaar Sign using biometrics.

Once the signer tries all types of Aadhaar Sign you’ve given them to eSign and fails in each - ONLY then Secure Virtual Sign is made available to sign the document.

Benefits of Aadhaar First

  • Compliance-First Approach: You can ensure that all customers who CAN sign via Aadhaar eSign actually sign by that method - safeguarding your internal compliance requirements
  • Flexibility without sacrificing compliance:  You don’t get stuck with customers who don’t have Aadhaar-mobile linkage. With Aadhaar First, you can try out other Aadhaar authentication modes (Face, Biometric, IRIS) first. If they also fail - revert to Leegality’s secure non-Aadhaar-based signing types as a last resort.
