What is the password for my Aadhaar PDF?
The first four letters of your name in CAPITAL letters, exactly as printed on the Aadhaar, followed by your year of birth. For SUMAN KUMAR born in 1990 the password is SUMA1990. If your name is shorter than four letters, use the whole name: RIA born 1994 → RIA1994. The format is set by UIDAI; see the sample card on this page.
The password isn't working. What should I check?
Use capitals for the letters. Use the name exactly as it appears on the Aadhaar, including any initial and dot — P. KUMAR becomes P.KU. Use the full four-digit year, not two digits. If the file is very old, try the 6-digit PIN code of your address instead.
Is it safe to upload my Aadhaar here?
