Why you need this feature
When document execution moves digital, one control usually gets lost: location.
In a physical flow, there are witnesses, CCTV footage, etc. that can confirm that signing happened at branch But in a digital process, an eSign can happen from anywhere, without witnesses or CCTV footage. So if your compliance team says "documents must be signed at place X," there's been no real way to enforce that rule digitally.
Even when you do capture location, low GPS accuracy means that data can't be relied upon — making it difficult for audits or investigations
Leegality geo-fencing helps you solve this. Leegality geo-fencing lets you define your signing location and enforce that in your paperwork.
Set a permitted location and a radius. Any eSign that happens within this location and radius goes through. Leegality blocks any eSign attempt that happens outside this permitted radius.
