- I won't have the second party's name at the time of procuring stamps. How do I procure eStamps?
Only the first party name is mandatory on stamp paper. So while procuring eStamps, the first party name will be your organization's name. The second party name can be a generic placeholder — like "Borrower", "Customer", or "Vendor".
- If I order eStamps on Leegality, will the physical stamp paper be delivered to my address?
Yes, physical stamp papers will be delivered to your address within 5–10 working days.
- Why do I need physical stamp paper if I'm opting for eStamp? Doesn't eStamp mean digital stamp paper?
The term "eStamp" is a bit of a misnomer. What's been digitized so far is the process of ordering stamps — but you still need to procure the stamp paper in physical form from SHCIL-authorised vendors. Currently, only 2 states (Haryana and Jharkhand) offer fully digital stamp paper. Leegality is also partnering with SHCIL to offer 100% digital stamps — once that goes live, you won't need to procure physical stamp paper at all.
