OTP-free Quick Sign - the fastest way to eSign non-critical documents

The typical eSign process involves multiple layers of authentication (OTP verification, photo capture, GPS capture, etc.) for added security. Usually, this adds a welcome friction - it helps prevent eSign fraud and enhances enforceability.

But there are some documents, like an employee handbook, feedback form, or other internal process documents, that simply do not need this friction. You’ll never take your colleague to court seeking to enforce an employee handbook.

If you use authenticated eSign processes for such documents, you will face the following issues:

  • Signing internal documents comes with unwelcome friction - hampering signer experience and delaying turnaround time
  • The document contains the full sign record - with date and timestamp visibly shown with the mark. You may not want this level of seriousness for “non-enforcement” documents - especially internal ones.

That’s where Leegality’s OTP-free Quick Sign comes in.

With Quick Sign, signers will be able to complete the eSigning of a document in just 3 steps.

How Quick Sign Works

Why can’t I just use clickwrap instead?

While you may not want to enforce these documents in court - you still want an internal trail of events and visibility for operational reasons. With clickwrap - there is no way to know who signed it and when. With Quick Sign, you can still keep track of these basic parameters. In that sense, Quick Sign is an auditable, friction-less alternative to clickwrap.
