If your customer does not have a smartphone - they can only eSign in an assisted journey at the branch level - on the tablet/phone of your agent/officer. eSign via Whatsapp won’t be too useful here.

- Backup to prevent drop offs: If your app/website crashes during the eSign journey - then you can auto-trigger eSign via Whatsapp to ensure the transaction gets completed then and there
- Best place to send final eSigned document: Even if they complete the eSign on your app/website - you still need to send out final eSigned documents. For this - Whatsapp is best because they get a PDF of the signed document. This means they can’t dispute it later
