In 2025, our focus was simple: help product, business and operations teams run document execution with more control and fewer manual dependencies.
2025 was also the year of new products:
- Expanded the areas of the document lifecycle that Leegality can help with - via Contract Management and Signstation
- Launched an end-to-end DPDP Compliance Platform - Consentin by Leegality
Before that, our 2025 numbers:

What we built in 2025
This year’s product work was driven by one question:
Where do teams lose time in using Leegality? How can we drastically reduce, if not eliminate this time?
Most of the answers came down to two themes:
- Visibility and control (more admin features for the dashboard)
- Self-serviceability (so your teams aren’t waiting on support tickets)
1) LeegaliBot: Get product queries answered instantly
In April 2025, we launched LeegaliBot inside the Leegality dashboard. Trained on our Knowledge Base and API documentation, LeegaliBot gives teams answers to specific questions without waiting for a ticket.
- What this unlocks: Leegality users can get instant, direct answers to questions without emailing support
- In 2025, LeegaliBot handled 11,938 queries

2) NeSL execution: fewer blind spots, fewer wasted stamps
In 2025, we shipped two upgrades for NeSL users:
a) NeSL Stamp Status (pre-signature visibility)
We added early visibility into stamp status before the first signature is affixed. This helps teams diagnose stalled journeys earlier and reduces stamp wastage in cases that get abandoned mid-way.
What this unlocks: lesser stamp duty wastage
b) Aadhaar Face Sign support in NeSL flows
We enabled Aadhaar Face Authentication within NeSL flows as a practical fallback when OTP or biometric signing fails.
What this unlocks: higher completion rates without changing the journey design
3) BharatStamp dashboard upgrades: stamping without support dependency
In 2025, we upgraded Leegality BharatStamp to make stamping more self-serve and easier to delegate across teams.
a) Self-serve Stamp Series Drawer
We introduced a dashboard flow that makes stamp series creation simpler, with validation for article codes and permissible denominations—so teams can procure correctly without raising tickets.
What this unlocks: fewer stamping mistakes and fewer support dependencies

b) Stamp Procurement Panel (delegate without extra user costs)
We added a separate procurement panel that can be used by finance/ops teams without requiring them to be full Leegality users. This enables organizations to delegate stamp procurement internally without incurring additional user costs.
What this unlocks: clearer stamp procurement ops without additional user cost
4) Contract Management: bringing review + execution closer together
A pattern we repeatedly saw for negotiated documents: teams were able to execute agreements digitally, but review, versioning and analysis of contracts still lived in scattered silos.
To solve this, we launched Leegality Contract Management - a set of easy-to-use features that teams can use to run pre-signing and post-signing steps for documents through the same platform.
What Contract Management includes:
- AI Review: flag clauses against your internal guidelines and suggest edits (based on your configured playbook)

- Contract Repository (bulk upload): bring legacy contracts into a searchable system

- Smart Extraction: pull key metadata (counterparty, dates, key terms etc.) to make it easy to search across all your contracts

- Renewal and Obligation Reminders: ensure you don’t slip up when it comes to enforcement - with automatic reminders for key events.

- Word Add-in: teams can negotiate contracts within MS Word without juggling multiple versions

5) SignStation: a simpler product for simple signing at high volume
Not every document needs multi-party signing. Many high-volume documents—invoices, insurance policies, lab reports, official letters—are signed only by the organization.
For these, enterprises often rely on expensive DocSigner utilities, which can become an expense of INR70L+ for large organizations.
In 2025, we launched SignStation: an on-prem DocSigner utility for single-sign documents, designed for high volume - but at lower cost.
With Signstation teams can cut Docsigner costs by half.

Consentin: Our New Category
In 2025, the DPDP Rules were officially notified. This creates a new transactional unit that businesses will need to collect, manage, store and process in a very complex way - granular consent.
That’s why we launched Consentin: an end-to-end DPDP/privacy compliance platform for Indian businesses of all sizes.
Consentin has modules for each stage of the privacy lifecycle:
- Data Discovery and Mapping
- Consent Collection and Storage
- Data Principal Rights Management
- Third Party Risk Management
- Data Deletion, Retention and Consent Withdrawal
- Cookie Consent
Agile, privacy first enterprises like Union Bank of India, IIFL Finance, Shriram Finance, Flipkart and more have already processed 1 million consent records via Consentin.
Coming in 2026: Leegality 4.0
Right now, Leegality is something your systems call. You push data to us, we execute documents, you get confirmations back. Any workflow logic — conditions, branching, exceptions — lives on your side.
This makes “true flexibility” a very bandwidth-heavy effort.
4.0 changes this - Leegality now becomes a core workflow layer.
A few key features 4.0 introduces:
Conditional workflows — Today, if, for the same loan product, you need conditionality e.g loans above ₹10L need Aadhaar eSign, loans below that can use simple QuickSign - you need 2 workflows. With 4.0, you build that condition into one workflow. The rule engine handles branching without separate configurations.
Pull data from external systems — Today, pre-filling a document from your LOS requires an API integration you build. With 4.0, you configure Leegality to pull that data directly. Branch officers can perform the entire documentation work directly on Leegality without juggling multiple windows.
Document Packs — Multiple documents in one journey, each eSigned separately. For transactions that need several independent agreements.
Stamp Duty Calculator — Estimate duty inside the platform before you procure.
Workflow Builder— Build multi-API workflows - combining consent and document execution - via a single, no-code interface. We will soon add an AI agent to help you build this with natural English queries
We look forward to launching 4.0 in Q1 of 2026-2027.
